Just was thinking about the power of gratefulness today. It's so easy and natural to gravitate towards envy and negativity and worry but such an intentional discipline to be grateful. Gratefulness is so powerful because it takes us back to God's sovereignty that He is the giver of all good gifts that He made you and designed you and placed you right where you are. Growth really begins when we receive who we are and we begin there and climb down from the fence where we're looking at how green our neighbor's grass is. When we're grateful we really free up God to do His work in us and through us.
